Privacy Policy

SIGNCAST is operated by Alpha 3 Systems LLC. This policy explains how SIGNCAST TEAM and its companion website and iOS app handle information for coaches, team staff, parents, and players connected to a team.

Information we collect

• Account and contact information: name, email address, mobile phone number, authentication identifiers, team memberships, and assigned roles.
• Team information: organizations, teams, seasons, roster records, parent-player relationships, events, attendance and RSVP responses, uniforms, announcements, messages, reactions, reports, and moderation records.
• Photos and documents: images you choose to upload, including team logos, message photos, uniform photos, and roster-import source files.
• Device and usage information: notification tokens and preferences, application version, basic request and security logs, and diagnostic information used to operate and protect the service.
• Location: foreground location is accessed only after permission and only when you request directions or location-aware event information. SIGNCAST does not use background location tracking.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; provide roster, event, messaging, notification, uniform, and game-day features; enforce team permissions and Private Roster settings; prevent abuse; respond to support requests; and improve service reliability.

AI-assisted features

When you deliberately use an AI-assisted feature, SIGNCAST may send the prompt, selected team context, or chosen image or document to an AI service provider to generate a draft or suggestion. AI output is presented for review and does not write team data automatically. Do not submit information you are not authorized to use.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers that help us deliver SIGNCAST, including cloud hosting and storage, authentication, notifications, application distribution, and AI processing. Current providers may include Google Cloud, Clerk, Expo, Apple, and OpenAI. They may process information only to provide their contracted services or meet legal and security obligations. We do not sell personal information, run behavioral advertising, or track users across unrelated apps and websites.

Player and minor information

SIGNCAST is intended for adult coaches, team staff, and parents. Player records are entered and managed by authorized adults. Player accounts and direct messaging by minors are not part of the current pilot. Team staff are responsible for having authority to provide roster information.

Retention, privacy choices, and deletion

We retain information while an account or team relationship is active and as reasonably needed for security, audit, legal, and service-continuity purposes. A signed-in user can initiate complete account deletion from More → Privacy & safety → Delete account. Deletion removes the account, memberships, device registrations, personal data, and user-generated content except information we are legally required to retain. Some records may be de-identified or retained in limited audit logs where required for security or legal compliance.

You may withdraw notification, photo-library, camera, or location permission in device settings. Team staff can update or remove roster information they manage. For access or correction requests, contact us using the information below.

Security and data transfers

We use access controls, encrypted connections, scoped authorization, and service-provider safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy as SIGNCAST changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
